Hi Judge!

I love following your content, thank you for what you do. I've been researching this concept as a part of the greater access to justice conversation and discovered only ONE court system where I found something similar to this in place. I write about this topic and would love to talk to you about this for an article if you'd ever be interested.

Los Angeles County has a program called CRS (Court Reservation System) where 18 courthouse locations and 100 or so civil departments now have plaintiffs schedule their own appointments within parameters set by the courthouse. You can also sign up for text and email alerts at no extra charge to remind you of your hearing time. This is the only instance I've found of this actually in practice and fully public-facing, versus for attorneys only.
