ChatGPT & AI - Part Two

Well, it looks like AI videos may be a hit so I’ve included a few more examples below. But as a Judge, this technology scares the heck out of me. How are we going to be able to tell fiction from reality? How are we going to be able to properly authenticate evidence before it’s introduced in court. And the technology is only going to get better. Today, you can tell if you are paying attention. But in 6 months, who knows.

Imagine trying a domestic case where there are allegations of infidelity and someone seeks to introduce a “surveillance video” or you are trying a criminal case and someone seeks to introduce an “audio recording” of threatening phone calls.

As with any new technology, there will be the good and the bad. So make sure to educate yourself and remain vigilant. Hopefully, these sample videos are just the beginning of the conversation.
